Vilosophe is twenty years old! Yep, time flies like flittermice (and satan's spies), but we didn't make any cake. There are no candles to be blown out. However, we rummaged through our cavernous cellar, emptied out old bags of floppy disks and found some remnants from that time. Some of it has popped up earlier here and there, but most of it has been recently unearthed.

Find some pre-prod demos, some live songs from 2002 and 2004, as well as a rare unreleased remix by Iron Sid among the tracks. I guess this collection is mostly for the true Vilosophe aficionado out there, as the sound is far from high fidelity. Probably without fidelity at all at times.

No physical release planned, just digital. Check it out!

Manes was formed in Trondheim, Norway in 1992, and released three demotapes and the debut album Under Ein Blodraud Maane as a two-piece, with vocalist Sargatanas and Tor-Helge “Cernunnus” Skei handling all instruments. I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian) porcelainheart-

Sørbyen, c'est un recueil de complaintes d'un éternel inadapté ; la pause clope tranquille se fait seul : netra tourne le dos à la ville et son accoutrement fait tâche dans ce paysage neigeux. La musique est à l'image de la pochette : plus calme, certes, mais à part, aliénée et on ne s'y sent jamais chez soi. Le trip-hop ne transmet aucune chaleur ; le black metal est souvent accompagné de chants folk mais déprime encore plus ; la techno ne donne pas envie de bouger. La douleur est viscérale...
